Raptor Phase 3 Clinical Trial Started
Two US hospitals are recruiting cystinosis patients for a Phase 3 clinical trial of Raptor’s Cysteamine Bitartrate Delayed-release Capsules (DR Cysteamine). Raptor’s DR Cysteamine is an investigational, delayed-release oral formulation of cysteamine bitartrate for the potential treatment of cystinosis, a rare lysosomal storage disease. DR Cysteamine is designed to potential reduce the dose frequency and gastrointestinal side effects that have typically been associated with cysteamine therapy.
